The Healthcare Systems in America...

...are the best in the world, but still comprised of people, simultaneously full of best intentions and flaws.

Patients and Providers must be able to communicate effectively through a crisis, episode, or treatment process, especially when there are no guarantees of success. By overcoming fear, uncertainty, and doubt, a difficult journey can become tolerable and important decisions made objectively.

The Foundation assisted individuals, families, and small businesses in a variety of situations regarding financial hardship, experimental studies, long term home care, end-of-life planning and much more. By pre-empting or bridging a divide between Patient and Provider through affirmative inquiry and mutual respect, the experience for the Patient and their family can be vastly improved.

We have your back.

Healthcare today can be very complicated for most. Even though costs for standard treatment protocols are well understood, many healthcare institutions do not offer them to patients. The system is designed to deliver now and pay later, but short-falls in health insurance often place a heavy burden on the Patient and their loved ones.

The Foundation exists to ensure that Patients and their primary home care providers, usually a spouse or other family member, are given as much information as possible to give fully informed consent to the treatment proposed.  We concur with the healthcare community that Patients must own their healthcare decisions, but regardless of the reason, many render decisions on limited information and sometimes the wrong information.

By assisting Patients to raise and frame their questions, the Foundation serves as another instrument to protect Patient rights, including the basic right to have full information disclosure.
